The Tech Life Begins
After graduating from UF with a degree in Mathematics, I took a contract programming role with the MGM Grand Hotel before landing my dream job in Tampa, Florida at Advantis in 1997. At 24, I was deep into data networking, and after acquisitions by IBM and later AT&T, I began my mastery of web development, network connectivity, database, and server administration, as well as discovering and remediating security vulnerabilities.
In 2003, I relocated to Tallahassee, Florida to continue my remote career with AT&T. Over the next 21 years, I built and managed mission-critical big-data applications, mentored junior developers, and collaborated across teams to scale enterprise systems. I loved it. But in 2024, AT&T implemeted their Return to Office policy. I was given the opportunity to work on-site in New Jersey! Fortunately, after 27 total years in my position, I was eligible to retire—so I opted to stay in Tallahassee and took the leap out.
Now, with A-A-Ron Tech Consulting, I bring my expertise directly to clients, solving complex tech challenges with a personal, dedicated approach.

Life Outside the Code
It's important to exercise the other side of the brain—hobbies! Cooking, hitting the gym, riding my motorcycle, and playing Heroscape with friends keep my after-work life balanced. But music has always been my true creative outlet. I picked up the violin at age 9, which evolved into playing bass guitar with my band, Mojo Stew, and jamming on my acoustic guitar. Music helped me come out of my shell and truly appreciate this life-saving, soul-enriching art.
